John Albert Dunning, Age 19

Private, 15325, 2nd Battalion, Leinster Regiment.

John was the second son of Mrs Fellows of (235 Census Schedule) Chapel Street and according to the 1901 census was then aged 2.

He was killed in action on 21st June 1918 and was another whose body was never recovered, and John's name appears on the Ploegsteert memorial Panel 10.

Extra Notes:
John's father was William Henry Dunning and his mother was Sarah Ann Dunning maiden name Briscoe, John’s father died in 1899, and his mother remarried to Joseph Fellows, in the 1911 census John is aged 12 and at School, the family are living at 10 Chapel Street, Dawley, he Enlisted at Ironbridge into King's Shropshire Light Infantry, regimental number 33174, but was transferred to the Leinster Regiment with a new regimental number 15325.
